History
of the show The Glen Innes Show is held annually in February and is the biggest gathering of local people and visitors of any other event on the Glen Innes Calendar. The show is conducted by a committee of 95 members for which a ballot is held most years, plus a very strong Ladies Auxiliary who organise Pavilion sections as well as catering facilities. |

The show is conducted over three days and two nights with a non-stop ring program featuring many facets of the agricultural show scene as well as special attractions. Membership tickets to cover the whole event are available from the Show Secretary Secretary's Office, Showground, Torrington Street, Glen Innes.

The Show embraces 39 sections from livestock to folk art and provides a great venue for competition through comparison. Students and young people can also be involved through displays and various livestock judging competitions. New members are always welcome and the Show Society organises other events through the year including bull rides, the Glen Innes campdraft, sheep dog trials and special functions. |
